I think it goes without saying that people here expect the stories posted to be the original work of the poster.

We are all of us capable of finding stories elsewhere, and I am sure the users on this website have enough intelligence to not need stories "altered" for them. And in what way is the name Barbara unreadable in the UK, and why does it need changing by you to Michelle ?

Some might say you were changing names in the vain belief that would hide the origin of your stories.

When people gave you praise for the story, and gave of their time to encourage you, they did so because they thought you were the author. You said nothing to dissuade them of that fact. Was your response to point out that the work wasn't yours, or did you just say "thank you, glad you enjoyed it", thereby giving the false impression that you created the work ?

You make great play of the fact that you never claimed to be the author. Well, I have never claimed that you are dishonest and that you steal the work of others and pass it off as your own. Glad we got that little misunderstanding settled then.

Furthermore, although he claimed to have changed names to make it more readable for uk readers (whatever!), his other story on here - Shared Love - has had no name changes whatsoever and is a completely faithful cut and paste job. The defence used that he was altering the stories to make them more readable simply doesn't hold up when he has made no alterations.
