We have booked the flights (credit card) but no accommodation.

21st of November for two weeks

Does anyone know if we book venus or mirage we would get deposits back if we still cant travel?

Shouldn't think there would be a problem.

Both places have been first class dealing with it so far.

We were due at Venus and they refunded immediately.

If there are no planes flying then that is good enough reason

Under normal circumstances, if you can't make your booked slot, because of flights etc, La Mirage will allow you to move the slot forward to a more convenient time. I would think though, given circumstances that LM would give a full refund, I think that this may be happening now with current bookings.

We spoke to a friend out there.

They are talking about lifting restrictions on going out in a couple of weeks but that's just to exercise like we do now. So much uncertainty so decided to accept this year is a no go now. It's not just our health but others we need to think about

We spoke to a friend out there.

You're quite right. I hope they lift restrictions, for people who live there, but not wise to travel until this virus is eradicated.
