Only confirmed today, will last initially to the end of the current 15 day lockdown and then extended as necessary.

Prepare to be extended for another 15 days. In Spanish tv they are talking about extending 15 days more the lock down.

And with UK policy doing no much with Covid, prepare to have borders closed for UK for much longer.

We have been told we can still leave Gran Canaria on Saturday 21st and fly back to the UK. Does the borders lockdown change this?

Yes we are confined to the hotel. The pool and communal areas are shut too.

TUI rep confirmed to us this morning that all flights back to the UK are on.
