Just seen a statement come through from work. All fights from now to spain have been cancelled. Anyone out there who flew with Jet2 will be contacted as soon as they can to discuss the options.

If not and you paid by credit card you can claim the money back through your credit card company as it’s over £100.

Has anyone an educated guess of how long before flights start again? Surely it's going to take more than the 2 weeks shutdown, to get through the worst?

Jet2 took the unilateral decision to halt all their services. Other major airlines such as Ryanair who operate more flights to Spain have not announced any such action

They not flying anyone into spain but have sent planes out empty at the companies expense to bring people home.

I also rang jet2 this morning. All flights from GC and Spain are flying people back to the uk pretty much on time. They're flying out from uk empty and returning full. Fiona x
