I’m here and so long as you maintain a high level of personal hygiene you shouldn’t have a problem.

Fylde Coast.

We’re heading out there in two weeks and I guess the very nature of our lifestyle means we’ll likely be getting up close and personal with different groups of people whilst in PDI.

That said, the risk is the same if you go to a club/party in the uk or indeed anywhere, therefore it won’t be putting us off travelling.

However as previous, personal hygiene, perhaps a hand sanitiser (a mask may be a tad too far!) goes without saying.

Enjoy your time there OP

Interesting, we've been back 2 weeks and my hubby was ill out there with the symptoms of the virus. He's getting better now but as they are same as flu we didn't worry and GP here didn't make anything of it either. We didn't go bars and clubs to play as he was not well enough so don't worry if they've got it they won't be playing.

I started with flu while out there and only just back to normal, took 3 weeks to shift it. Think the flights are a concern more than the place itself as everyone’s breathing the same air for hours in a confined space, best top up on vit c before travelling

Logically, any form of contact with others is a risk, international travel in a confined space with air Re circulating constantly amongst a collection of people from everywhere and anywhere (namely air travel) ramps it up several fold. So it’s always going to be a risk and just Up to you how far your going to raise the odds of coming into contact with the virus.

Wife and I came back early January and both sick for 2 weeks after ... It's not the place that the problem or the people you meet there. It's the unhygienic people you are cooped up with on the plane coughing and sneezing without using a tissue ... Dirty b******s.

It's the same wherever you fly

We were the same, flew back in January and were ill for 2 weeks afterwards.

We are back here again now, so just hoping we don't get it again... got my anti-bac wipes ready for the plane!

We came back after new year and both had severe flu , coughing spluttering etc . So many in the same boat so it maybe something to do with the flights.

Think wipes will be a good idea to take along .

Flights plus aircon in the room often gives me a head cold, nice not to have aircon on this time of year
