Hello dear Fab-members,

first we want to apologize, that we write only now (and thank for the favour a few very beautiful people write for us in the meantime), but the rules say, we must wait 7 days. We are a swinger couple that lives permanently in Gran Canaria and are the owners of the new swinger club Club Gatsby. We have worked long and hard to create our club for people with an upscale lifestyle, to celebrate parties with style and class and do everything we can to keep you entertained with many specials, events and goodies in the future.

So we want to thank you for so many private messages and posts that the most guests like our concept. Especially last saturday all the guests were at the playrooms and enjoyed, those who were there, know it. In generally we want to explain at the beginning, that we do everything to make our guests feel welcome and will always be open for suggestions.

Particulary we must say, that we can not do the right for everyone, especially the smokers and non-smokers. We thought long about what to do and decided to do a non-smoker club, where it is possible to smoke at the entrance area. This is sheltered from wind and not to be seen, we think it´s not uncomfortable, but open for suggestions like a heater, seat accomodation etc.

Concerning the toilets and showers, we attach importance to a perfect equipment until little things like desinfectant and think, for the sum of the guests we can let in, they are more than enough if you compare with other clubs, a bidet we have never seen there, but if many would like it, tell us. If you need more towels than these in the lockers, it´s no problem, only ask the staff.

Not everything is still ready, we are open now for 2 weeks and a few things must be improved, no question, for example the drink menus will come of course and the staff will be trained too. If there is any problem with them feel free to every time to tell us personally, we are always there.

About the prices we think, our concept is to offer you a relaxed atmosphere without pushy single-men and then of course we can not give free admission, but if you compare with a few other clubs, we think the prices are fair.

So we hope, we can create a club which is made for the guests they want it like this and looking forward to your opinions and suggestions to improve and make it to something really special.

Thoroughly recommend any couples looking for couples to give this club a try. We will certainly be back in October. In our view certainly several levels above the other clubs. Well done on having it non-smoking, and I say that as a smoker. I always feel guilty about smoking indoors at the other clubs in PDI but I've no choice as there isn't any alternative.

The only thing that annoys me about having to go outside to smoke is freezing my bollocks off; that shouldn't be a problem in PDI

We'll be visiting in Oct when we arrive.

It's obviously still early doors and with the right crowd this place could be fantastic. We visited Gatsby also last Saturday about the same time. Really nice place, good drinks, professional staff and also had a change to chat with the owner couple. We are not that much into playing in clubs (we like daytime fun&drinks at Venus), but when going to club at PDI this will be the place to be.

Are you staying I n Catarina?

If so turn left at the front, walk up towards Cita, cross the road, cross the road again to the Cita side at the roundabout and it’s in front of you, slightly round to the left.

Have seen the signage and it’s nicely discreet.

We went last night and have to say it’s a great club nice main room and really good playrooms all in a nice atmosphere.

Now the bad bit and I’m sorry to say a really bad bit. The staff set up a shisha pipe on the bar and were sucking on it like there was no tomorrow both bar girls the bar guy the pole dancer and even the guy doing the washing up came out and had a go right next to us. I know it’s not smoke and it did not smell but we had to wait to get a drink because they were so busy on their pipe weren’t paying attention really unprofessional. We decided to leave as did another couple we were with and told the owner on the way out why. Hopefully he will take this on board and not let it happen again.

We will try when we are back in September if it’s the same that will be our last visit which would be a shame as it could be the top club on the island if he listens to his customers.

We will try when we are back in September if it’s the same that will be our last visit which would be a shame as it could be the top club on the island if he listens to his customers.

We went to Gatsby last night and confirm what others have said, it’s very well decorated and furnished, not much in the way of play areas and is rather dominated by the central bar.

Plenty of room to sit around the bar but it didn’t make it easy to mingle.

The chap on the gate was akin to the security you get sometimes in the Cita, not friendly or welcoming, perhaps I’m being paranoid but he seemed a little disapproving. Just eyed us up and down and nodded us in.

In contrast the lady on the desk was very hospitable and explained the wristbands etc very efficiently, also the bar staff were professional and efficient.

This is probably the difference to Fun4all or comeback and imagine, the personal touch. All the staff had uniforms, looked smart and did there jobs but it lacked that rapport you get elsewhere.

It felt like a nice Gentleman’s club, as they are called now.

It certainly has all the ingredients to be great and the owners have definitely spent a lot of money and effort creating it, so I would definitely recommend giving it a visit, if you send them a message on fab you get in for €30 which includes 2 drinks or if before 11 4 drinks.

Will be interested to see how it’s evolved when we come back.
