Vera beach travel tips

Could anyone tell me the best travel tips to get to Vera, best airport, transfers, hotels and the likes?

I am planning on my first trip there but looking for some advice on the best way to do it -

we always have our car as we are there for several weeks. If you fly the fav airport seems to be Alicante more flights from UK, but Murcia airport and almeria airport are closer. You can hire a car or there is a shuttle service from Alicante definitely or of course a taxi which I don't know the price of. Self catering is best as there are a load of options, a few hotels all look great but only one in the naturist area
