Christmas in GC or...?

I’m recently single and really not feeling Christmas this year. I want to get away for Christmas on a sunny solo trip, so thinking Gran Canaria or one of the other islands. I’m pretty sociable so would like to obviously make some holiday friends, and I definitely don’t wanna be moping around for the week while everyone’s enjoying their holidays around me!

Would anyone recommend this sort of holiday? I’ve been to GC a few times and PDI is the place I’m most interested in going but open to other suggestions (pricy travelling solo! Fuertaventura is cheaper but i think I’d prefer somewhere I’m somewhat familiar with).

I would stick with somewhere you are familiar with. Everyone is so friendly there
