The only small negativee is the coffee is disgusting except at breakfast according to Mrs ( I never touch the stuff ) and you have to pay extra for decent coffee from the Bar

Take your own instant if you need a fix, or if your on the top floor there's a nespresso machine in the rooms but you only get 4 or 5 capsules so get them from the spar up the road.

It still was when we were there in January. Only hotel we stay in now, close to all the right places and there's many people having food and drink in the foyer at 4 am in the morning lol. We usually pick up chips from the all night chippy on the corner to make a chip butty lol xxx

Yes it has a naturist roof terrace - astroturf overlooking beach. There was no bar facility so had to bring your own drinks up. There is a toilet up there though.

The nearest swingers clubs and bars are at the Cita centre a couple of minutes walk away. Very code.

The hotel was pretty good. I’d go there again.

To be honest there was nothing good about it. Room was average (but not very clean), food was awful - it was like comparing McDonalds to a top restaurant with the hotel we were moved to ( which was the same price), communal areas just awful. Even our rep didn’t like working there as she had so many complaints x

Drinks … had to tell bartender to stop pouring as I’d like a second one lol

Yes,there's a drinks price list on the bar.

I can't see it online but it was definitely there possibly in the section we used to choose our dining times in August during online check-in.

The inclusive choice is better than many hotels but JD was definitely extra and I think Hennessey brandy too. To be fair the inclusive whiskey wasnt too bad especially after the third for some reason.

We'll be back next year but trying self catering for 2 weeks from tomorrow

The ones from the machine are free, I think there's a choice of 4 and anything else is extra.

There are 4 cocktails on the all inclusive they are already made up into jugs so not the best sex on the beach probably the best of the rest

You haven't missed much!

The free cocktails taste like the cheap pre made ones. We stuck to the Sangria out of the machines and added fruit.

West Moors, Dorset.

The cocktails have never been great to be honest but the local white rum and vodka seems okay, we just ask for LARGE ones !!

They used to have a cocktail of the day that was made separately that one was usually good. Bacardi and was mainly our tipple of choice there x

Staying in Abora until the 27th November, right next to sun terrace one floor down next to lift so not a problem, lovely hotel room facing dunes and gardens fantastic view, only draw back is it is a family hotel so lots of kids running around when in the restaurant etc, otherwise highly recommend got a good deal -30% on Hotels.com Steve xx

Stayed here last month, just booked for January. Less than 5 min walk from cita and on direct bus route from airport. Food OK, red wine better than the white. Coffee is rubbish but live music around the pool and naked sun terrace

Stayed there in November, to be fair was quite tired compared to pre covid. Lots of broken sunbeds, numerous sections of damaged tiles outside, hall carpets stained in places, door numbers missing etc. That makes it sound horrendous but it wasnt, we wondered if they had suffered with vandalism whilst closed in lock down. Anyway we will be back and hopefully these issues will be resolved by then

Also stayed here in November just gone, like the others we found parts of the hotel tired and in need on repair, including the room numbers which so appear to be missing in places, very odd though as we seen 1 maintenance man replacing some numbers, but it appears they have difficulty obtaining certain numbers.

The room we has was fantastic, albeit on the top floor right at the other end of the hotel? The view was spectacular across the sand dunes and the ocean, very spacious room with comfortable beds, although did tend to fall apart in the middle.

The animation crew were also fantastic and really enjoyed the aqua aerobics.

Some of the evening entertainment was also very good quality.

Food and drink was not too bad! Good days and bad days but much what you would expect from all inclusive!

Loved the location! So near the Cita Centre and short walk to Yumbo and Sandia centre.

Just phoned to request our usual room for next week and was told the blocks to the dunes side of reception which includes the sun terrace will be closed for refurb so hopefully we will get a nice one when we go in March

The receptionist also mentioned the hotel is pretty empty.

Not a concern for us but maybe for others

A quick update for those interested.

The two blocks at the end nearest the dunes are closed until probably summer, they are putting in a new swimming pool and some of the ground floor rooms are getting jacuzzis according to the hotel manager.

We were in the block at the opposite end and very occasionally on the balcony could hear the digger going but not intrusive at all. Only downside is it's 1000 steps to the sun terrace and 300 steps to the bar lol

Yes, the hotel is fully functional except the garden path is blocked at the very end block. None of the rooms in the first two blocks are occupied probably due to noise disturbance bit you can walk around these blocks and the lifts are operating.

Looking at the state of the works I'd say at least 3-4 months remaining possiblity more.
