Getting expensive this year

We have been looking to go back to GC in October, but have seen such a big jump in hotel prices compared to when we were there last year. Is anyone else finding it more expensive?? Or have you found some good less expensive hotels, or even villa,s?

It is more expensive, we used to stay in Gold but now the price has more than doubled.

Since we spend our time at the beach or in bar and clubs, all we need is a clean bed and good shower so we are happy with smaller quieter places. There are still a few about.

Trivago/ Booking.com are useful in finding good and cheap places.

We found prices for Oct have jumped considerably. Had a look for nov and it’s even higher

Yes it is more expensive than last year . Travelrepublik sometimes have a good deal .i got acomadation about 46 % cheaper than original price ..for October and april ( next year ) x

Agree I go same time and place every year and it was £300 more expensive and it was dead out there , I want to go again in October but the prices are stupid for some reason

Try looking at booking in the early hours of the morning. Usually 4am to 6am the demand is at its lowest and some places drop their prices as do many tour operators. Or join a hotel group like Riu and use their loyalty program to get good deals on hotel prices.

That has been exposed as a myth. One reason that it appears more expensive is down to exchange rates, always check prices in euros to get a real comparison.

Really cheap Jet2 flights November from £35 each way. Even with the "full monty" Bags Seats meals comimg out at £300 per couple. Great flight times too!!
