We are starting to plan for NYE and are thinking of Gran Canaria.

Does anyone know what it is like at that time of year ?

Weather is ok during the day, sunbathing weather, without burning too much. Jumper at night, usually, or shirts round bars, in town. Party starts after midnight in spain, quiet beforehand. Watch out for Christmas eve if out there, it's their main celebration until the 5th Jan, so everywhere packed out.

We've been going over Xmas and new year for the past few years. The weather is great and there are lots of Fabbers over there. The clubs and bars are busy and new years eve is a great night in the clubs. We spend Xmas day on the beach, naked at Kiosk 4 and then Xmas night in the clubs.

Mind you, flights and accommodation seem to be more expensive over this period. We normally fly from Newcastle but this year we are flying from Stansted as the flights are under half the price from there.

Been to pdi for new year twice

Weather great and bars all busy

Great firework display at midnight in the yumbo

Hotels and flights seem to be a lot more expensive so far this year

One of our best visits to GC was for New year.

The bars and clubs were very busy. We saw the new year in at Secrets but the atmosphere was great and buzzing all week.

We also remember being laid on the beach New Year’s Eve, scorching and thinking “it can’t get better than this”... It did.

Hope you like grapes OP.

Its a really good atmosphere. As previously said weather good.
