Venus Resort Closing?

Does anybody know if Venus is closing now that the new Venus Star Resort is open? Just been looking at dates for the summer and it’s not possible to book past the end of May.

Don´t understand the posts before, our english for special phrases is not so good.

But if the first question was serious, no, it does not close. In May only a special BDSM group rents the small Venus complete and they don´t want to have visitors from outside.

Yes I do like the Cure thanks for the references.

Regarding the resort i have stayed there in May before with my partner so was surprised to see it not available to book. It doesn’t seem to possible to book after then either which prompted me to assume that it was closing down or being sold off with the owners concentrating on the larger Venus Star resort a little further away.

If it’s still open then great. My partner and I loved it and would thoroughly recommend it.

We talked to the owner before so sorry for the half-wrong information: The group of BDSM comes at beginning of may and then they close really a few weeks for renovation of the pool and other little things.

But there is no talk of closing it completely, it can be booked normal after these few weeks.

Yes they are we've heard from them as we had booked to go in October, but they did ask if we would like to stay at New resort. Such a shame we had a great experience last month at Venus xxx

I have been trying to book the BBQ for Sunday 5th May but can't get any reply...and I am making the booking as a couple!

Any advice? The Venus BBQs are one of the highlights of any trip to GC

Venus Resort is closing. We have stayed there for the last 4 years and had a booking for our usual Xmas/New Year slot at the end of 2019.

We received and email from them recently offering the option of transferring to Venus Star or having a refund of our deposit.

We have a long list of preferences for Venus Resort over Venus Star having visited the new resort at the beginning of this year and are almost certainly going to take the refund and stay at La Mirage instead.

May have to alter our dates to fit in with availability there but we really are not keen on Venus Star at all and are so disappointed that Venus Resort is closing.

Sad news indeed. Yes we like the intimacy of Venus (apart from on bbq days that is) not sure we’d enjoy being part of a herd. Must admit not keen on La Mirage either though never been. Who would recommend it and why?

La mirage is a fabulous resort also. We've visited for past 4-5 years and always find a great mix of ages, nationalities and body shapes and sizes, everyone is made feel welcome. Bungalows are really nice and very clean, staff are excellent and always really helpful. We've always had a very sexy fun time and always a great atmosphere at la mirage. Reasonable price to stay

We will be staying at Venus star in may having spent two fabulous days there last November, can’t wait to return, it’s so chilled you float around the place, it had enough for us in November and from what we read in the forums it has more now, A&V
