It really depends what sort of accommodation you are looking for. If you want to be near the swinging clubs, you need to look at Playa del Ingles or Maspalomas( you will need a cab to the club's from Maspalomas). There are a couple of swingers complexes or ordinary hotels/apartments, some which are popular with swingers. Let us know what you are looking for and there are plenty of people on here who can help you

Anyone know what driving/parking is like in GC? I’ve looked at the price of a taxi from the airport and it’s cheaper to hire a car for 10 days than it is to get a taxi there and back!

Parking is no problem around apts, etc. but it can get busy parking at the beach. You will get parking tickets if you don't pay the correct fee on parking bays. On market days and at Puerto Rico you'll struggle to park as it's mega busy.

You can get an airport taxi for €45 each way or you can book a shuttle online for reasonable money.

We booked a shuttle last time we went hence looking at taxis, I think it was at least an hour before we even left the airport (waiting on other passengers who hadn’t landed yet) and then about 90 minutes before we reached our hotel, never again.

We always jump in a taxi...airport to Meloneras is around €45 each way

We stay at La Mirage and always rent a car ?? . It is not only cheaper than taxis but it also means you can pick up shopping....wine/beer/water... much cheaper at El Tablero.Also let's you get out and about a bit...
