Best adult only hotels in Spain

Plucked up the courage to go next year on my own some (sad, but none of my friends no about my fab life)!

So I'm going at it lone solider style.

What hotel have you had a good experience in?

I'm looking for one near a good swinging club, your recommendations will be highly appreciated

Costa Blanca Spain...

We can't really speak for other parts of the world but in Spain the "adults only" hotels are more geared up to older people who want a holiday without kids running around.

"Adults only" as we would (like to?) understand it is quite rare (almost non existent) on the mainland. Off the top of my head I can only think of Vera Playa Club hotel which is naturist but even that isn't adult only.

In the winter months Gran Canary is more adult orientated and there are some hotels with naturist roof terraces.

There are swinger clubs in nearly all big Spanish city's but most of these tend to be very much aimed at the local (Spanish) market so a lone British guy would struggle unless he spoke some Spanish.

In Spanish holiday resorts swinger clubs are very thin on the ground. Benidorm has only one small club (and for years didn't have one at all) there is another small one in Salou, one at Vera and one or two on the Costa del Sol, but that's about it for the mainland. There is also one club on Tenerife.

For any concentration of swinger clubs and swinger visitors it's back to Gran Canary again. Apart from Cap d'Agde in the summer months that really is it, the lot, nothing else.

As for the rest of Europe. You can pretty much forget Greece, Turkey, Italy, and most of France (Cap d'Agde is unique) We have some German friends who go to Croatia but that is just naturist with a bit of low key swinging on the side.

Apart from North Africa (which you can also forget) that is pretty much the Mediterranean covered.

Alternatively you could go for city breaks. Germany, Holland, and Belgium all have some great clubs but while you may get the sex, the sun and sand will be in short supply.

The only one we know of on Mallorca is at Can Pastilla.

We've not been but by all accounts it's very German orientated.

Thinking about it. Another alternative could be Alicante city.

It has the sun and the sand, it's easy to get to, has a more international feel about the place, plenty of hotels, and has at least 4 swinger clubs.

Think this is the closest I'll get with sun & sand being the top of the list, city breaks without doesn't do it for me for some reason. I'll do some more research!

The swinger complexes Mirage/Venus/Venus Star as far as I know are couples and single ladies only. I've been 4 times this year, and fly out again in a couple of weeks.

June. July & August, gotta be Cap D'Agde. Expensive, but a definite experience!

I will look into it for sure. Maybe when I've done Spain I'll give cap d'agde a try I've always wanted to do this rather than visiting local U.K. Clubs.

Right so I've settled to GC either in Feb or April.

I'm looking to get away for 4 days.

Got my location sorted just need to book a decent hotel/ apartment.

Where would you say is good for a single guy to book?

As an outstanding post earlier said clubs here are Spanish oriented, so if you are couple or single woman I offer myself to go together to a club at my area. So that would be Salou or Barcelona.

For obvious reasons I don't offer myself to guys as entrance to q club for two single guys together will be terrible difficult.
