Most if not all of the Premier Inns will have their heating on.

Gran Canaria, Spain

Agree 100 %, live here for nearly 5 years now, but please think, especially and only the south like Playa del Ingles and neighbourhood villages. In the north it´s often raining, cloudy and much more colder...

Absolutely right.

A lot of people think that the Canaries are all the same for weather.

They are not (especially in the winter) The north sides of Tenerife and GC and the whole of Lanzarote and Fuertaventura are exposed to the prevailing north easterly winds and can be very wet and cold.

The mountains of Tenerife and GC protect the south of those islands from it and would be the only places in the Canaries we would consider in the winter.

I'll be there in December with my wife. We've been there at least once every winter for the past 5 years.

We love it there but great night life, really? The place has gone to bed by 11pm by my reckoning. Feel free to tell me I'm wrong?

South Tenerife should be fine I would've thought.

Walkable into Americas for nightlife too.
