We have hired an apartment just outside the naturist area, but only 800 mtrs from the beach.

if you stay right be the beach u can pick a totally naturist complex and be naked all day if you want.

It is a bit cheaper to stay a bit further back but not naturist, try any of the al andalus complexes

Not sure about the rules so won't post a web address. However if you google friends of Veraplaya you will find a lot of very useful info. Including a map of VeraPlaya and this shows what is and is not naturist. Lists restaurants bars and clubs etc. Well worth a look.

Not too long now before my fix of all over sun. June the 24th can't come soon enough.

Lua is a fab restaurant, its right beside the Consum supermarket, there is a couple on the beach which are nice for lunch.

The bars by the hotel are fun and varied

I'm a bit confused. I never recommended a specific hotel or restaurant. so not sure what hotel you refer to. The only hotel I know of in the naturist area is the VeraPlaya Hotel and as mentioned by someone else the hotel closes in October.

In Hotel Street there is Broadway Bar, almost adjacent to Vera Playa Club Hotel, Bar La Reva very good for food especially Sunday carvery, Frankies good for food. For a great atmosphere visit Tabu, the gay bar 2 doors down from Broadway Bar. Friendly people and great staff. Gay and straight all there.

hotel closes in mid october and only reopened 2 weeks ago and it always has closed out of season. perhaps you stayed in a different hotel !
