Drinking and Clubbing in PDI

We are going to PDI in a couple of weeks for the first time so we have been looking at the Spain forum to work where to go and there seems to be a common theme emerging which is people first go out drinking to certain Bars eg Imagine , then much later compared to the UK eg 11pm to midnight they stumble into the Clubs where they pay say €30 to entry and in return they get given drinks vouchers to drink even more alcohol !

Remembering Spanish measures are much bigger than UK ones this makes us think many men in the Clubs are in no fit state to have a meaningful conversation never mind rise to the occasion!

We don’t think alcohol and swinging are a good combination and every bad experience we have had on the scene in the last 4 years has involved people drinking too much .

Any regulars in PDI like to comment as to whether we have got the wrong impression ?

Yes, you have the wrong impression. You will have people over indulging, but we personally, in many years of going have never had a problem and the bar/club owners will not tolerate d*unks. We find the best time for having fun and meeting others is when the club's ' get going', in most clubs that is after 11pm. It's not for everyone, but it works for us. Hope you enjoy your holiday.

Zurich. NOT London.

I don't know any clubs in PDI that charge couples (apart from Eternity) and I've never been given drinks vouchers.

Some people are going to drink, some not, just because people are meeting in bars, it doesn't mean they are drinking, I've been known to turn up at clubs or Imagine and drink water, not often mind, but the bars and clubs won't tolerate d*unks.

And Moonlight Dreams Club on a Wednesday & Friday but those are the all inclusive nights, 30euros a couple including drinks, Soft drinks are available! LOL

Most nights and most clubs are free entry for couples.

Agree with comments left... we have been a few times and never had a problem.. the fun does start later in the evening but that is the Spanish culture ultimately. Only ever paid at eternity and essentially that was just the cost of a drink each... go with the flow and you will have a FAB time x

Ive never had a problem with d*unken single guys, nor any that couldnt rise to the occassion.

We find the whole pub/club scene a lot more relaxed and less stressfull than UK clubs
