Closest to Torrevieja itself is Cala Mosca next to Playa Flamenca.

It's a quite small cove beach accessed down steps in the cliff face and the amount of sand can be variable depending on the weather. It's pretty much directly opposite Lidl/Burger King on the N332.

Heading the other way then it is La Marina/Guardamar. From Torrevieja head towards Alicante on the N332. Go past Guardamar and carry straight on at the Nancy club roundabout. Just after the next roundabout (big Chinese market) take the slip road on the right signed "La Marina Playas". After around 500 mtrs you will see the entrance to the camp site on the right. Turn right down the side of the camp site and park up on the car park on your left.

Take the wooden walkway to the beach and turn right at the waters edge.

The naturist section starts around 100 mtrs further and stretches all the way back to the River Segura.

Occasionally a bit of action can be found in the dunes behind.

That’s great info thanks ye I know the Burger King your on about i walk past it on my way to the gym

probably a bit cold today but weekend is going to be warm so maybe better chance then , which one would you say is the best ?

It depends on what you want.

If you just want to lie in the sun with a few other people then Cala Mosca would be your best bet, and if you are close to Playa Flamenca then not too far to travel. We can actually walk there from our house.

For a bigger beach with the chance (albeit slim at this time of year) of a bit of fun in the dunes then go up to La Marina. Bear in mind it is a 20 minute drive from Playa Flamenca then about 15 minutes walk from the car park to the beach.

Well some fun in dunes sounds good , I don’t have any transport at the minute so flamenco would be the one , I’ll probably just be sunbathing though because I wouldn’t know how to aproach someone, how do you know who to approach ?

You don't.

"Approaching" someone and asking "are you a swinger" would not be a good idea.

The beaches here are nothing more than naturist beaches they are not swinger pick up points. As on most naturist beaches there will be a few swingers mixed in but the vast majority won't be. Even the ones that do like to play are more often than not down there looking for sun not fun.

The dunes (but only the dunes not the beach) at La marina are slightly different. Occasionally a couple will wander in there from the beach (you never know one day it could be us LOL) Some may just want to have al fresco sex with each other. Others may want someone to join them. The regular approach used by the "Meercats" is to stand watching and playing with their cocks hoping for an invite.

However the whole scene there is, at best, hit and miss. You could go tomorrow trip up over a couple in the dunes and have some fun or you could go 20 times and never see one.

It is nothing like Maspalomas or Cap d'Agde.

Had my first nudist beach experience last week , wow and wow , it felt so bizarre but soooo good only one couple there which I ended up chatting to

Also chatting to a German fella up to our knees in the water and he had the biggest dick I’ve ever seen, I did make the joke the water is cold lol

No chance this week bit cool

I assume from the previous posts that you went down to Cala Mosca.

Was there much sand?

This time last year pretty much the whole beach had been scoured away by last winter's storms. We looked in the summer and it hadn't really improved much but when we went down in October it was showing good signs of recovery.

I suppose we should have taken a look earlier this month but didn't get much spare time.

Hopefully on our next trip (Mid March - mid April) we will be able to get a few days down there.

I used to visit Calla Mosca extensively and can certainly agree about the sand issue having gone down a few times to find the beach totally washed away. I was down a couple of times last year and it had improved.

It is certainly not a venue for contacting other swingers and even at times chatting with other visitors as people tend to keep themselves to themselves, but there is always the hope of meeting and getting to know new swinging friends, perhaps we will meet there some sunny day.

Yes that can be the case there.

We used to use it quite a lot and got to know quite a few of the regulars down there. However with other things to do in the last four or five years our visits have been few and far between.

Looking forward to getting down there again this year and if you see us by all means say hello. Look out for the red and white "Place Libertin" (French swinger site) parasol.

Cala Mosca used to get very busy but, like all the beaches in the area, only in the warmer months so realistically from May to September. Needless to say July and August are the busiest.

In the winter months a few hardy souls will venture down there but not that many.

We are back in mid March so will probably have a few days down there, weather permitting of course.
