We are visiting Almeria next week and would like advice on transport to Almeria from Malaga airport.

Is there a train ,bus or should we hire a car .

Hire a car guys , we make the trip up to see family from Malaga to Almeria quite regular .

The drive up on the coast road is great now its been completed .

Just wondering why you didnt fly direct to Almeria airport ?

Hi, Why not fly direct to Almeria? EasyJet from Gatwick. I am going down again next week. I always hire a car with Europecar. very good value.

Definitely hire a car, I suggest Hertz or Record so you know the total cost of hire in advance.

It’s a great road with nice coastal views.
