Went to go in Comeback bar on Wednesday evening....closed. Friday...closed, Saturday...closed. Rumour has it they are in financial shtuck.

We don't go to Comeback ourselves but hope it's not gone....losing any Bar, or Club, isn't good...people need a choice. Someone out there, do a bit of digging around and find out what's up.

We use to go to comeback bar, but find it very clicky, and overpriced, feel much more welcome in the imagin bar. X

Shame if their having problems. We personally prefer imagine bar but certainly don't like to see these bars get into difficulty. But .... it is only a rumour after all. Maybe everyone's jumping the gun.

We don't go into comeback bar, but know it is very popular with many people, so I too hope it gets sorted out. We all need choice of where we like to go.

This is bad news if it should turn out to be the case - since we like it there when visiting PDI.

Imagine is a good alternative for sure - but hope that both bars will be there when we return in November.

Went into Comeback Bar last week. Had a Draught beer and Martin was very welcoming as always. However we both said to each other how unwell he looked. If this is the case we wish him a speedy recovery

Great to see some respectful and positive posts about the whatever the ‘situation’ is at Comeback. We have always been warmly greeted and looked after by Martin ( and his team) and had many a memorable evening in the bar. Met so many great people from all over the world ‘on the stools’ there!!! Let’s hope all turns out to be well and they are up and running v soon. We are out next week, so here’s hoping ....

The comeback bar has been one of the top attractions for years in PDI.and it would be a very sad loss to any of us who have enjoyed the wonderful nights

that were spent there.

The staff have always been so respectful

It would be a shame If it was to close.

So lets hope all is well soon.

Was open Sunday night. Ca went behind the bar to wash glasses etc with our friend and another lady as Martin was trying to cope on his own. She then had a chat with him and he is not well. However, we both feel that we cannot go back as we are very uncomfortable with the situation and how poorly he looks. Much as it pains us to say that as we even gave him and Jesus an open invitation to our home in Edinburgh a couple of years ago as they wanted to visit Scotland. Tragic!

We were there a couple of weeks ago, went a few nights over the fortnight and it was very very quiet. One night we were the only couple there.

As has previously been said, Martin looked really ill, gaunt tired looking.

Just hope he's OK and business picks up for him.

On our very first visit to GC we had our first meet at the Comback Bar with a cpl we now call special freinds, been back there many times and love the small querky but homely feel of the place, it would be a hole in all of our future visits to GC if any thing should happen to Martins bar, we hope he is ok and wish him well xxx

Martin is not there at the moment and will need a few weeks, Gerry manages it now again with two new guys till Martin is back again.

We are there 4-5 times a week and always it´s busy and funny
