Hi guys

I'm wondering what the availability of Taxis is like from the airport in Gran Canaria. Getting some unbelievably high quotes for tranfers too and from maspalomas.... Surely it can't be that expensive.

We use A2B transfers .

Too and from airport to maspalomas , private taxi £45.

That is crazy! Normally about €45.

We have booked a return airport-PDI back to the airport 18 days later for €80.

Getting one from the airport is easy enough

we visit GC several times a year and get the service bus. Its 3.50 euro each from airport to Maspalomas.......take the lift upstairs in the airport then follow the signs to the bus stops......number 90 to Maspolomas (I think)...its on the bus stops.....

Taxi cost us €45 from Maspalomas to the airport we catch the public bus number 91 from the airport to Campo international cots €5 each then get a Taxi to our resort to cost €5.

Easy to find just outside airport and think they run every half an hour and a lot cheaper than a taxi

FORGET TAXIS. Amazing bus service for 3 Euro to Maspalomas, and not much slower than a taxi, just google where to get off. If you do taxi, will be about 60 Euro, and there are plenty outside and they know all the hotels. The Bus is outside, across the little road and car park, and to the right, bus number 66

Offical Price list.

Bus Nr.66 directly from Aiport to Maspalomas or Maspalomas to Airport= 4,05 Euros

Check the timetable on globalsu. net

Normal taxi around 45 Euros /30 minutes

Private shuttle with driver 32-33 Euros /25 minutes

You have many diferents companys of Shuttle with differents prices

We've hired a car for a week from the airport for under £100 with Budget.....

No need to worry about transfers, trips to the interior, seems the best bet !

Make up your own mind about La Mirage. It all depends on the people there at the same time. Its clean, the staff are great, the facilities are fab so don't know how you can be put off?
