The sun's hot ,the service in shops and post office, banks and in general is terrible . The standard of driving is horrendous and dam right dangerous

Make the effort to learn Spanish even just a little .

Something's are stupidly expensive and some things arent, not many well paid jobs on the Costa .

It's a good place to bring up the children and enjoy an outdoor lifestyle

These are just something's we have learnt having lived here for the last 12 year's

Buenas Suerte / Good Luck

Malaga Spain but sometimes Manchester and

Would agree 100% with all above. Spain is a big country and very few people speak English outside of the British enclaves. So learning the language a bit is essential.

Where do you plan to live?

murcia spain

we live on the costa blanca been here 11 yearsand our experiance is very different

the spanish are lovely staff in shops are corteous and helpful

this might have something to do with the fact that outside of benidorm etc this is not really a tourist area and so the spanish dont have to face the uglier side of tourists lager louts etc

would agree that trying to learn a bit of spanish is sensible it helps smooth the way and the spanish take it as a compliment

oh def agree about the standard of driving

if you need any more help please message us
