The three summer pool parties should read. 13th (not 15th) June. 18th (not 20th) July. 15th (not 17th) Aug. There is an extra house party not listed on here on 16th Sept. The October house party should read. 28th (not 30th) I think the dates posted on here were the original ones when the hosts first planned out the year ahead. Then a few changes and additions were made. | |||

We went to one there at the back end of last year but it wasn't particularly well attended. Maybe we should try to get some more informal socials going. "Thinking about your suggestion G, an informal social would only be attended by people from this forum.At the socials we have been to before,quite a number were not from the forum.Part of the problem is possibly the fact that the last social at "Saints & Sinners" bar last year, was a complete disaster,with David & Jo messing up on dates and then compounded by the fact the owners of the bar were not on that night and the stand in bar staff knew nothing about it. It put plenty people off coming again.It may recover, it may not. | |||

"Yes M I know what you mean. Luckily we missed the final disaster at Saints and Sinners but it did put a lot of people off. Shame really as the earlier ones were well attended and enjoyable (for some more than others )

"Hi guys , we'll be over in villa Martin next week , are there any nude beaches around there apart from la marina , Ryan & Bev " There are a couple of small coves at Cala Mosca next to Playa Flamenca. Pretty much straight out over the land in front of Lidl/Burger King. The amount of sand can be variable and the winter storms bashed it up a bit, but it usually recovers by the summer. Also you can drive down to San Pedro del Pinatar. Drive through the salt lakes to the marina and park at the far side. Walk out on the finger of land, it seems like you are walking to La Manga (you can't BTW) Once you've got a reasonable distance from the car park get your kit off. | |||

"AngelDemon 22nd June - 27th June Playa Flamenca Las Chismosas. Can anyone recommend any good clubs in the area? xx" Only in Alicante and Elche. There are none in the Torrevieja area other than Puerto Amore at Guardamar and to be honest its best days are behind it. At the moment we prefer Jardin del Eden (will be there later today) Aditi is good but a bit young for us (but would be OK for you) and Cupido can be good on Wednesdays. We've not been to the Elche one for a long time so things could have changed but we always used to enjoy it there. The others in Alicante we've not tried at all. "Over on the 20th we need to find the best place to go on la marina beach. We'd be coming from quesada on the 332." By far the best and most popular part of the beach is at the La Marina end. Carry straight on at the "Nancy" (nightclub) roundabout and again at the next (Merca China) one. Stay in the nearside lane and take the sliproad signed to La Marina. After a few hundred metres you will see the entrance to the camp site on your right. Turn right down the side of the camp site and park in the car park on the left. You should be OK midweek in June, but at weekends and the whole of August it can get very busy and full. From the car park walk down the wooden walkway and turn right when you get to the beach. The naturist beach starts about 100 metres further down where the beach opens out at the end of the dune and extends all the way to the Segura river estuary at the Guardamar end. You don't need to walk too far, as you will see, most of the naturist couples tend to stay quite close to that end. The middle part of the beach is more of a gay area. You can also go in from the "Nancy" roundabout and pick your way down through the dirt tracks across the baranca's. However it is so long since we did that route even I would have to think about it. For fun in the dunes you can just step over the rope at the back of the beach and pick your spot. The signs say it isn't allowed to cross the ropes but no-one really takes any notice. Other couples in the dunes are quite rare so don't build your hopes too high. Also even if there were another couple in there, the area is so vast you would probably never find them. However the single guys (Meercats) will almost certainly find you. Have fun | |||

We organised a social last year at Rocky's, Playa Flamenca. 20 people turned up and it was a really good night.  | |||
