Im heading out there with a group of men and women in may, i was wondering what it is like out there that time of year?

Last year we went out in August, it was busy there was no party atmosphere. Is it different in may or will it just be the same?

I am asking on here as it seems that there are a few who live out there who could help.

Hi. Just the same. Gets busy towards weekend with stag and hen dos. We off may 6th till 13th staying old town. Mix your nights up we find it tedious in the square. Old town is great on a night.

Absolutely.

Far too many Brits miss out on what the old town has to offer.

Some great little bars and the Tapas bars are bloody wonderful.

Totally agree. The Old Town is much better and a great fun atmosphere lots of good bars and street restaurants with great food.

I'm there from 18th to 28thmay

New town

But mix it with the old town a few nights

Stayed in the old town twice last year and some great bars

And eateries there

We are staying around 10 mins away in a cab to where all the main strip and pubs are.

I have made sure old town is on the list for a visit

Sort of Staffs/Cheshire ish

We always go about the third week in May, it's not too busy- apart from weekends- but busy enough. Agree about the Old Town, especially The Queens, but get there early if you want a seat
