First time we haven't been all inclusive while staying in Gran Canaria. Just wondered if you had any restaurants you could recommend to us please? We are staying at La Mirage

Just over at shopping centre faro 2 (a short walk from La Mirage) El Nublo. Down near the lighthouse the 19th hole and Samsarra (need to book this one). Down at the Cita we like the Savoy. Red Cow near the casino does great food. The all you can eat Chinese buffet at Yumbo has always been good when we've been. There's plenty more oh ask Wendy about the Donkey restaurant in the hill we've heard it's amazing but yet to try it, we're going 3 weeks today !

Get a taxi to faro de maspalomas (no more than 4 euros in a taxi. Gran Italia or Maximillian are great as is the 19th hole with live music. If you like a steak try El Churassco which is up stairs at the front as you walk past the first lot of shops. Love area for a walk along the prom with great bars and restaurants.

Wapa tapa in the YUmbo is brilliant but you'll have to book. They are on bookface. We also like Chez Luigis in Sandia - good food big portions and as much free liquer you can drink when finished
