Costa Blanca Spain...

It will be pretty quiet at that time.

The next DD party isn't until 25th March (they are on holiday) and the Alicante clubs will probably be a bit thin as well.

Best bets would probably be either the Wednesday afternoon/evenings at Jardin del Eden if you like a single guy or two, or the Saturday nights at Aditi for a younger crowd and more night club like atmosphere.

In Torrevieja itself there isn't much other than maybe arranging meets off here. There are quite a few active couples and singles in the area of many nationalities. Most of the British ones will put their names on here, although it will probably be a bit quiet for the next couple of months.

The nearest club (Puerto de Amore) is at Guardamar. It was good in the past however its best days are behind it (that is the polite version)

There is a good club in Elche (La Arboleda de Similia LADS for short) We've not been for a couple of years but we've had some decent nights in there.

Then there are the monthly DD Parties and socials. The parties are held at a private house in Rafal (30 mins from Torrevieja) They are for couples, single lady's, and a limited number of single guys who can only attend if invited by a couple to make up a trio and they must be no older than 45. Couples and lady's have no age restriction.

In the summer months they also hold a few daytime pool party's.

The hosts are on holiday at the moment so the next party isn't until March 25th.

Other than that you are left with the Alicante clubs. Below is what I posted on another thread a few weeks ago.

There are five clubs in and around Alicante.

Closest to the city centre would be "Play Papua" Next would be "Atrevete" which is at the south end of the city heading towards the airport.

We haven't tried either of those two so cannot recommend one way or the other.

A bit more upmarket would be "Aditi" but (for us anyway) it attracts a younger crowd and is more like an erotic disco with extras than a full on swinger club. It is located on the N 332 behind Playa San Juan.

Our favourite at the moment is "Jardin del Eden" The club is French owned and we think the most welcoming to international visitors. We particularly like the Wednesday afternoon/evening sessions there and we've had a lot of fun.

Another would be "Cupido". We only really go there in the summer months when it can be quite good, again we like the early sessions on a Wednesday, but it can be very quiet in the winter.

It is worth noting that most Spanish clubs cater for the Spanish market rather than international visitors and at the weekends tend to start late. Many do not open until after 10pm (some even later than that) and very little happening until after midnight. That is the main reason we like the Wednesdays.

We usually like the Wednesdays there but we went last month and it was very quiet.

We tried a Saturday in November and it was much better but (like nearly all Spanish clubs at the weekend) it was a very late night.

We are flying out tomorrow but have family with us for the first week so we won't be able to make this Wednesday but we are hoping to get there on the 22nd.

We are also at the DD party on the 25th.

BTW. Still looking for a single guy to make up our trio for that.

The club itself is very good, but sometimes it can be a bit hit and miss on the numbers.

We like the Wednesdays there (afternoon into evening) and last year we had some really good days.

We've only been once this year in Feb and it was pretty quiet.

But onwards and upwards, we are going again this Wednesday.

The club is mixed every day but it has a couples only room downstairs.

Saturday also includes dinner between 9 and 11pm but the fun tends to start later.

Prepare for a late night, leaving at 3am (or later) is quite normal.

That is why we like Wednesdays.

For couples it is 35 euro midweek and 45 euro on Saturday including 4 drinks (two each)

On Wednesdays they do a BBQ in the afternoon and on Saturday it includes a sit down meal.

Bear in mind that the club does cater more for the Spanish market so you won't see roast beef and Yorkshire pudding anytime soon.
