Head to Imagine Bar in the Cita Centre, Tonny & Saskia will be able to tell you everything you need to know to make you holiday go with a bang. Its also a great bar for meeting likeminded peeps from here. Its always my first port of call, I'll be there on the 28th X

Hi Incocknito,

If you were making your way from the PDI end of the beach - you needed to go just another 100meters beyond kiosk 7 with the Rainbow flag and you would have arrived at Kiosk 4 and then the dunes immediately behind. Visited a few times over the past 2 weeks and it has always been worthwhile. Better luck next time.

Its kiosk 4 Maspalomas not Playa Del Ingles...Just keep walking along the beach from PDI...the beach will bend right towards Maspalomas...

You can always do one of the following

Jump the bus to Maspalomas Faro (lighthouse) then walk back along the beach 10 to 15 mins...or walk down to RUI Palace Maspalomas, the big white hotel at the bottom of Avenida Tirajana...Walk through the dunes 20./30 mins...than can be a good nature walk pmsl

Any advice on what club to visit tonight considering its a Thursday night. And also what would be the best time to arrive? Thanks in advance. I have read all the advice from city slickers so just would like to get peoples opinions who are here in PDI at the moment.

I haven't been to 2x2, as it was closed for duration of my visit last Xmas. Will hopefully put that right this year, I am there from 23rd to 29th. Big selection of clubs but can be hit and miss for a single guy.

Thanks Samiss, But the travel agent has been back on to me, and said sorry they are over booked, and the only place they can get me into is the Koka, or pay my money back, but wont get money back till Tuesday, so would be to late to book anything else, so it looks like hello Koka here I come, be there Tuesday night.so hope to see some friendly faces whilst I'm there.

I'm sure you'll have a great time! We always just treat our hotel/apartment as a base, as we don't spend that much time there. As long as we have a clean bed and shower, that's all we worry about.

No you don't have to book, normally, but also not sure about NYE. 2x2 is not open NYE. They do get busy and when we were there in October, on 2 nights, they had to turn people away, as they were up to their limit. Have a lovely holiday.

Don't think you will be affected in Ireland. Check in staff and baggage handlers in several English and Scottish airports are due to strike on 23/24 December. Ryanair say flights from and to UK not affected. Best is to just check your own airlines.
