Hotel Recommendations PDI and Maspalomas

We're looking to book a week in Gran Canaria in April 17 - we're seeking recommendations on what hotel to stay at which is upper-medium to high-end in quality terms where we can easily access some of the alternative 'life-style' (beach and/or clubs) while we're there. We know we need to be around PDI and/or Maspalomas.

Serious recommendations based on actual experiences are welcomed - thanks in anticipation.

Hi would recommend h10 in melanares a pleasant walk to maspalomas then when you get into the dunes watch out for the meerkats lol they can be very annoying not sure if your familiar with the dunes but if you meet the right couple you can have a lot of fun plus all over tan

any of the Lopesan hotels near the Maspalomas lighthouse. Costa is probably the best Baobab was pretty good too.

Been a few times. Neptuno hotel is right in the thick of it, and I recommend it thoroughly. Great food, great staff, good pool and nice crowd

Gold is excellent Adult only, self catering close to Yumbo and Cita next door to Sandia. Taxi to Faro under 5 euros. Best we can recommend from personal X X

We love Gold. Stylish with great staff and a brilliant breakfasts and just over the wall from the 2x2 club.

Stayed here last year. Beautiful hotel and spotless. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great ,pool areas where spotless too. Fully reccomend this hotel. Costs more than most but well worth it.
