Son Bou fenced off?

Have seen a couple of reviews saying that Son Bou dunes have been fenced off as a nature reserve & that people are having to go further along the beach. Is this true? Who has been recently? Please let us know so we can plan accordingly.

Has been like this for a few years now. There is still a walkway through the dunes though parallel to the beach. Nothing to stop an adventurous couple/moresome from stepping over the low rope and finding a bit of privacy - just you can't sunbathe there.
