Hey folks - thought we would post our thoughts on PDI as first time visitors in the lifestyle.

First things first. If you are a single man you are not a swinger. Let’s just knock that on the head. They are players not swingers.

This site needs to get a grip - is it a swinger site or a sex site? That’s a topic for another day.

So PDI - highlights and lowlights by venue visited.

Come Back Bar - great staff but the place is a dump. 95% UK clientele and average customer age is at least 55 +.

Plan B - by far the best pre club bar - a proper mix of European customers, lovely place, awesome staff. Head there from 10pm and give Come Back a swerve.

Peaches & Cream - great entranceway but inside it is a huge disappointment- nightclub esque with little or no play space. Don’t believe the hype they post on their page here. It’s not nearly as good as their marketing suggests. We won’t go back.

Fun for All - the sister business of Come Back Bar - it’s tiny. Two playrooms, one lockable and one lit up with floodlights for all to see. The lockable room stinks. The other playroom is fine if you don’t mind perves at the door. Staff from Come Back move downstairs and are very good. 30 people and it feels packed. Not a proper Swingers club because of the lack of space.

Secret - by far the best Swingers Club we visited. It’s big. Nightclub style but huge play space. Bigger than Cupids in Manchester by some way. Negatives - you have to pay to enter unlike Fun For All and Peaches and Cream. 30€ for a couple = entry plus 4 drinks (tokens) - but on our last night the price was 30€ for entry and two drinks. Be careful as we think the female manager on the door is pocketing cash and she is f*cking miserable. Staff otherwise very good but don’t leave your drinks lying on the table if you are dancing as they will be picked up by staff - finished or not. Another negative - at least ten single men wandering around each night we were there. Odd bods at best. The wanking dead.

Gold Hotel - awesome staff and manager. A great hotel and worth paying more. Half way between Yumbo and Cita.

Kiosk 7 - don’t waste your energy or time. It’s a 1 hour walk from PDI and it’s exactly the same as Kiosk 3 which is only 15 minutes.

Tipsy Hammock - great vibe, most of the staff are very good but we were ill after eating there. We are in hospitality and one if us is a trained chef - hot hold of food is crucial - we felt that the taco fillings were not right with hindsight but that aside we would go back for drinks only.

K8 restaurant - Yumbo - excellent value and food very good for a restaurant on the square. Would recommend.

That’s us for now - we are heading back in January so will update then. We are totally independent of all the businesses we mention and this is our honest appraisal.

Something you should note is that in secrets the full right hand side play area is for single men so if you go in there expect what you call the wanking dead. Great if you want to play with men otherwise don’t go in there. Single men are not allowed on the big main play area

I think this all depends on what you like

We hated Secrets

Plan B first night ok second night owners friends came and everyone else was pushed to side rudely

Coma back bar was always fun

Peaches and cream we loved and went every night for us best place

Agree that that is what is supposed to happen but it was obvious to us that some single men got preferential treatment from the security staff at the play room door. One guy dressed like Spartacus was in and out every night we were there. Fully appreciate that some couples are seeking a single man and that’s why they are there.

Just what we observed.

You walk through it to get to Come Back from the main entrance. It looks quite nice but we didn’t stop. Ellie’s bar downstairs opposite Fun For All was busy too.

Like all reviews, be they theatre, films, television or swinging, they are subjective and merely one person`s opinions, which may differ widely from the next person`s. They are not facts. As a result, we feel that the best and only way to form an opinion of a venue is to actually visit it yourselves, and make up your own minds. Everybody has different views about all of these bars and clubs. Chacun ses goûts.

That’s why we prefaced what we said with ‘our thoughts’ from the last 6 days in PDI.

We appreciate it is subjective. We also work in hospitality so look at things from more than just the customer’s perspective- any venue can have a bad service day and other customers can impact your own personal experience. We get that.

We just read your feedback on PDI, firstly thanks for taking the time to do it. Our first time was last year. Going back again on the 16th Oct. we found secrets the best and plan b. But following posts on here we have some few new places to try this time as well all down to people given feedback. Can’t wait to get there.
