Seville Oranges

Ive being told today that the Oranges in Seville are only any good for marmalade?

I feel a bit deflated, has anyone tried them?

In Seville right now, been told they are actually quite bitter although haven’t tried them myself

Seville oranges are just one type of orange in Spain. They are, indeed tart, and best used for marmalade. But if you're going to Seville, there will be other oranges you can buy which are good for eating and juicing. Look for navel oranges in particular. These have a sort of hole at the bottom which looks like a belly button - hence the name!
