Wife and I might be going out for a week on 17th January. Watching the weather forecast closely - if any doubt we’ll head further south to Cape Verdi. If we do go to Fuertaventura we’re looking at either Costa Calma or Jandia - hotel recommendations gratefully received (we’ve a few suggestions already but happy to have more or further validation of some). We’ve ruled out having seen TripAdvisor reviews:

- TUI Magic Life (Jandia)

- Princess (Jandia)

- Labranda Golden Beach (Costa Calma)

Was in Lanzarote 12th jan till the 20 I decided to take the boat across I didn’t like it what’s so ever. On less went to the wrong part. More near the sea front ended up. Few shops and restaurants. One nice day we got there as the rest off the week was wind rain.

There are no clubs or meeting places anywhere on the island. Your best, and possibly only, chance is to use "who's near" on Fab. The south of the island is more German, the north more English.
