Hey guys, we are looking to book our first time in PDI.

We aren't sure whether to do all inclusive hotel or self catering.. ideally we'd like to try the clubs, but we are thinking not every day? .. we like to have a few cocktails throughout the day (not saying we are heavy drinkers) but .. we are unsure if we should do all inclusive or self catering.. what's everyones thoughts please? X

Depends if you like average (or sometimes poor) food or if you prefer variety. Personally I got SC or B+B as I find hotel food gets repetitive

My opinion… go sc or B&b. Generally speaking the food in the AI hotels is pretty grim and repetitive unless you’re going high end. There are tons of really good restaurants to enjoy too, which you would miss out on. Also, I love getting off to kiosk 7 for the day and enjoy the great vibe there and a few drinks, not to mention tipsy hammock .. You will need to save some space for drinks in cita at night too

Can recommend Hotel Nayra if looking for adults only. It was right next to Yumbo which has lots of food options and entertainment at night. Decent walking distance to Cita (15 mins) and not bad to the beach either.

It was room and breakfast only, breakfast changed daily.
