Hi, first timers to pdi. Is Bar Comeback a good place to start the night and meet couples there to chat. Do many other people start the night there? Are ther any other free bars to go to first before you pay to go into a club? Thanks

Yes, there’s Plan B on the same level as Comeback Bar. There are a few other bars on the same level that we know have opened since we last visited. Peaches & Cream (doesn’t open until 10pm) is also free entry for couples. Fun4All is also a ‘move onto’ venue that doesn’t get going until later, but again it’s free entry for couples.

We enjoyed Comeback bar, the staff was fun and they had good live entertainment but it didn't seem set up for meeting people. We saw people at the same table having a good time but we didn't see anybody really seem to be interacting with new people. Maybe an off night?

Definitely come back bar or plan B are good for meeting up to start ..then you have secrets, peaches and cream and fun4all all close by..you'll get your bearings once out a couple of times. Also alot of people go to tipsy hammock down the sea front its a very lively loud open seafront bar.

That's because single males are tucked away from everyone else...when I was there last year there were no mingling to introduce yourself...the place is not fans of single males..had 1 drink then enjoyed myself at plan b

Totally agree. Very clicky and I'd imagine it would be great if you're a regular as they all sat together on one table. We're shit at just going up to people randomly tbh though but don't think the layout helps. Lovely staff and vibe though

One of our favourite bars , we’ve met loads of friends in that bar staff are always good and chatty . we find it easy to chat to others even tho we don’t approach many first . Like the other bars you do find groups that know each others and we don’t mingle much in the groups. So can see how some may think it’s clique but that’s sane in plan b etc too .

some complain about the single guys being separated but its a chilled atmosphere and if singles are invited to tables they have no problem with that .

I liked the bar, staff were friendly

I was there as a couple with my wife who was reluctant to go at first & had hoped perhaps if other couples spoke to us she might relax & be more curious.

However we were left to be sat on our own the nights we were there unfortunately

We love Comeback. Our go to bar. Spend the evening with Fab friends, great atmosphere, music, bar staff are superb. Back there this coming Saturday night, and every night for 2 weeks. Can't wait. See you at the bar

We don't find it cliquey at all. Perhaps you were just there during an off week! We can't wait to get back at the end of the month! It's our favourite place to start at and can be found there most nights from 10pm when we are out there. Met some amazing couples in there then went on to a club with them!

Hi to all the single males, you are very welcome in comeback bar, you are seated in certain areas for couples comfort, as not all like single males, you are welcome to walk around the bar to see if you can see anyone you know or would like to know and then ask permission to join. If invited with a couple you may sit and join them

To all the single swinging guys:

We are a swinging meeting point bar you are all very welcome in our bar.

But we have a rule and it’s for the comfort of our sexy couples, we have couples only tables.

Your seating areas are inside the bar, a round table & two tables down by the sofa, front terrace in the middle brown table, further along 3 tables and inside opposite the front terrace you have all the tables along the back wall on the sofas and the black table under TV.

Once you have your drink you are welcome to have a wander around the bar to see if you know anyone and if you are invited you may join a couples table.

Thank you for your understanding, we look forward to meeting you.
