Must admit I'd never heard of T Lounge until I read your post.

The reviews on google are all positive and all from around the last month (ish) so I'm guessing it's pretty new and to be fair looks very nice.

The T Lounge Bar Torrevieja.

Little review.

We went on a Sunday (in February) to check it out. Very quiet as you would expect. Nobody in.

Long narrow bar, with small stage at the end. They have spent some money as it looked very nice. Neon light etc.

Three staff behind the bar, plus owner sat with dog. Seemed friendly, they were advertising karaoke on Thursdays (which interested me).

I asked about karaoke on Thursdays, they said no its Saturdays. Okay but your website says Thursday. Yes I'll have to alter that. Have you checked our Facebook. No I replied.

Later I checked their facebook not been updated for a month. Karaoke still showing Thursday.

We had one drink and left.

Due to go back on the next Saturday, website and Facebook still showing karaoke for Thursdays. So I messaged on WhatsApp and messenger on the Saturday to confirm. They replied. Yes karaoke on tonight.

Great we thought

Drove 30mins.

As arrived message, saying they had a problem could not get words on big screen but still going ahead.

Walked in 8:30. It was dead, nothing happening. Ordered a drink at bar. Measured out a gin. So got a thimble full of gin. Poured bottle of tonic over it. Not cheap either.

Sat down.

Two other groups walked in (2 x 1 guy 3 women).

Maybe things are looking up.

They all sat down. Looked at drinks menu and waited.

Three staff behind the bar, owner sat with the dog. No one went to the tables.

Eventually the people had to go to the bar. Got their own drinks.

Still no sign of any karaoke. Or any contact from staff or owner.

The two tables finished there drinks, and sat a while to see if anyone would approach them. Nothing.

They Eventually got up and left.

We shortly left after that about 10pm. Nobody in except the three behind the bar and owner and dog.

We so hoped it was going to be good. There is a market for a place like this.

But unfortunately, this is not it. Hopefully it will change and become busy. We need bars like these.

Can't see us going again, and the other tables the same.

A crying shame, it has so much potential.

Disappointed to read that.

Hopefully it will get better as we get into Spring and Summer but your review doesn't inspire confidence.

We will give it a go at some point but it seems that the owner/staff will have to put in a lot more effort to make it work.

We will see.

The sad thing is. It would cost nothing to change most the problems.

Change website Facebook.

Approach customers, take orders at the table. I can understand if they are slamed they may struggle.

But more staff than customers, no excuse.

Don't know why they measure out spirits here. Not seen it anywhere else. Well if they did, we would not be going back.

So cheap easy fix. I'm not knocking the place, just what happened to us at our visit.

We so much wanted it to be good.
