What time do you land? Most of the car hire places inside the airport may be closed from 8pm

But I think, if you email and say you have a late flight, they might be able to keep someone there

I would, and this is just me, wait until you arrive in PDI and look at car hire places here, there are loads of offices to pick up and drop off hire cars and probably a bit cheaper as well

Read the reviews online- I've noticed that some of the options are much cheaper but have a load of bad reviews (not refunding deposits or charging for spurious damage etc). Better to pay a little more and use a reputable company like those listed by Eden GC.

On a nicer note, the mountain area is stunning (Pico de las Nieves etc) and Salinas is supposed to be very nice
