Fuerteventura wind speed

When I was there at Riu hotels and beach last year around this time the wind was strong and you lay on the beach and get sand whipped. 18 to 25 mph winds its saying this week on the weather forecasts, to those there is it too windy? Trying to understand what wind speed is too much

I've been there in October and winds been still and perfect for laying on beach
