Hi guys I am booked into Gold arriving Saturday unfortunately mid carnival. I am nursing an injury ie a broken leg (lol anyone with a weird medical fetish hit me up….joking) I am now panicking as I didn’t realise it was the parade evening and I can’t walk a big distance. I need to save myself for fun lol. Can anyone local let me know if they know of a hotel that isn’t on the parade route or closed roads that I could get a taxi to. I have been before for Carnivale and I won’t be able to do it with an injury through those crowds.

Awwwwe that really is the worst day of the year to arrive with an injury. Hate to tell you, but Gold and the whole area will be impossible to reach by car or taxi or bus . Unless you arrive by 14.00 or similar at the latest, you will not be able to get through until about 06.00 AM …

So closest by would be nearby CC Tropical , but even then it’s gonna be a difficult walk

Thanks guys so silly of me I have been before arriving for Carnival and it was bad enough. Does the Boulevard walk the length from parallel with Greenfields area up to Gold so I can miss the main crowded streets of the parade. If not I will probably need to give it a miss.
