Single straight guys in PDI

Hi all, quick question. Looking at booking a holiday to PDI. How do single straight guys fare in the clubs etc? Is it worth my time trying to play or is it very couples and bifem centric?

In my experience the clubs and bars have become pretty unfriendly / expensive in recent years for a single guy in pdi. Some bars may or may not let you in or you have to sit in a particular area ...and the clubs are expensive. I've had some great holidays in the past but I wouldn't bother going back.

Saying that there are still lots of folk up for playing with a single guy.

Try to join in on chat groups on here and know some people before you go to meet up in the bars

That way you can walk into clubs in a group and if you have a female fabber that walks in with you then you only pay for a couple which is cheaper than a single man and you get more free drinks.

Use your see who's near while over there as lots of people use it to arrange meets especially if you're in the same hotels

It's very interesting to read such comments) And tell me a place where the clubs are cheaper than in Gran Canaria? For example, Eden, the entrance costs 20 euros and this price includes 2 drinks

Hi, some clubs are expensive, and I've stopped liking them because of the atmosphere. I prefer bars where I can meet people, and that's a different game. It also depends on what dates you come; some places are closed.

I'll tell you a secret, in Europe almost all prestigious swinger clubs are closed to single men. In Gran Canaria there is no such thing. And on the island the maximum price for entry is 50 euros including drinks in a club where there are more than 100 couples. Is that expensive? What do you think is cheap then?

Pfi has something for is all.

Don't expect fun. Equally why not join chat groups for pdi and get to know peoples before tpu go . I can truly say this is beneficial.

I'm happy to pay a lot to go into a club ....if it's friendly and welcoming and laid out nicely. I was thinking of secrets at 50 euros (and a cattle market) but yes most clubs are cheaper but they still rarely treat a guy like a customer in the real world. Generally pretty rude.

Our entry fee for Solo Males is 25€, this includes 2 drinks and the locker, a fair deal we think

You can access the whole club, jacuzzi, playrooms etc

Obviously nothing is guaranteed, except a good time

Check out the forums for lists of who is over at the same time and what they are looking for, pop statues up as well letting everyone know where you're going

Read the Guide To PDI, it's a little bit out if date,but alot of people find it helpful

You can download it as a PDF and read it in your own time

By way of example ..a few years ago I went to eden, in fact, with two couples ..I can't remember if it was at the entrance or the bar but they were giving out a free shot of something...the person comes over with 4 shot glasses for the five of us..it's only when one of the couples commented did they bring another shot... It's things like that I don't like. I'm not looking for a cheap holiday just a nice vibe.

Sorry, but The Secret has raised the entry fee by €70 to filter out boys, there were a lot of disheveled people.

In Madrid and Barcelona there are many clubs that already pay 70/80€.

I think pdi clubs is treating solo men, better then any other places i been. Since i started to go to the clubs here in 2012(3 times every year) ,i never been denied in the door, and i always have alot off fun, when im there.

Everything in life costs, thats just how it is😄

OP one of the great features of fab is the verification system. This applies to clubs and bars as well as people.

Roughly 25% of our verifications come from single men who took the time to share with others the great time they had at Eden_GC. It's a ratio that says a lot and is something we are particularly proud of.

Eden is another great option, Tuesdays and Fridays for single kids. I've always had a good time every time I've gone, and the lockers are great. I'll go there today!

Have to confirm that Eden is expecting for single guys. Great value drinks, no rip off entry price like some places, just a fair price.

Top tip get there early.as they have a quota for single.guys and as its so popular it's filled quickly.

As for bars, Route 69, plan b, elys new bar are great and welcome single guys. Haven't been to hotspot yet as wasn't open in Feb

We enjoy chatting and possibly more with single guys, keep checking on, who’s nearby, there maybe people looking for fun in your own hotel, and in the bars and clubs simply smile and say hi to people, being polite and not pushy goes a long way x

I'm not sure if your being deliberately thick ...I obviously don't expect a free drink as a matter of course , it's the fact I'm charged more and treated rudely / differently. I was with some nice folk and they clearly thought it was weird and asked for a shot for me. And I don't hate the club, it's just a bit tiresome .

Clubs defo need that single guy element to it. We've had some of the best nights with couples and single guys on the big beds!! But do agree with others about meeting beforehand at many of the bars then heading into club as group or with single girl... I'm out there in 3wks with a single girl of mine and we will defo be wanting single guys in clubs!!

Eden is the club that doesn't make you feel left out. It's a top notch club so can only assume this is a genuine mistake! Never once had an issue in here

I have been visiting PDI for about 8 years now. Things have changed out there. When I started going most single guys would spend 5 nights of there 1 week holiday in 2x2. The only nights they wouldn't go in were bi-night and couples night and then would head to Secrets. These were both busy clubs with a lot of active couples at the time.

These days, 2x2 has closed down, Secrets has more than halved the area available to single guys and recently raised its prices to 70 euros. This has now knocked in on the head for many singles.

I personally will not go to Secrets as a single guy at those prices. Neither will 80% of the single guys in the GC singles WhatsApp group I am in. In fact this year most are knocking GC on the head all together and going to Thailand. The single girls are not interested if the single guys are not going so they may not be heading this year also. Well done Secrets !

The other clubs and most of the meet up bars in GC are great. Eden is fantastic and incredibly welcoming, so is Peaches and Cream, Plan B, Route69, Reenies and Sweet moments of the ones I have been to. Even Secrets, Majestic and Tantra offer a great service, the only issue is the entry price for single guys.

Come back bar is not friendly towards single guys and me a friend had an issue when meeting a couple in this bar in October.

My advice now for GC is go as a couple and you will have a better time.

I have just read the latest write up from the last single guy and he has all of what he has written totally accurate and BANG ON

Even the bit about better as a couple going to PDI .

I have hit it a bit lucky meeting superb couple s who would like another man in the surrounding

BUT as a single guy you are right about comeback and bulldog .

Didn't know secrets €70 wow and having to be ostracised in a small part as you say .

Eden ,perfect and peaches as well.

And route 69 .
