Just a question about the hotel Gold in PDI, does anyone know if the bar is open to non-residents? We are staying in a nearby apartment and we just wondering about the possibility of using it as a meeting point for a social. Thanks

There is La Sandia Commercial Centre virtually next door.

Bars and restaurants there. On the front you have two cafe bars, and inside the centre you a a lifestyle bar !

Gold doesn’t really have a bar as such . Only a restaurant . The one thing we were disappointed about hotel . As fab other than that .

Heathrowish

The restaurant is fantastic but very pricy.

There are a few bars next door but mostly have a German vibe including a shisha bar on top of La Scandia which is open late.

Gold has a bar just inside at reception on the left side .

Anyone can call in for a drink and sit inside or outside . It’s separate from the restaurant .

Restaurant is franchised out to someone else .

Nothing to do with the hotel as such .

A good place for a social.

There is a poolside bar. If I recall it closes at about 5pm. I think its supposed to be for guests but you might be able to pay at reception to use it

We've stayed at Gold a few times and been to the pool bar. No ones ever asked for our room number or ID when we've come in off the street to the bar. The burgers are amazingggg!

Hi everyone we are thinking of booking for our Winter break. Walked past a few times we have been passing. Jet2 offered rooms on the Road facing. How do you request a South facing overlooking the pool..

There are two bars at Gold, one by the pool at the back & one next to reception.

You can have a drink right outside reception - the pina coladas and the espresso martinis are amazing. There is also a nice little cheap German bar virtually next door, but if you want a posh drink Gold is great. The restaurant food is really nice too but it’s a weird menu that can’t decide whether it’s tapas or individual mains and it was the most expensive meal I had in PDI.

The floors 1-3 have some road facing rooms on one block. Floors 7 and 6 are the upgrade rooms as they have the best views over the pool and a pod coffee machine. Floors 4 and 5 are nice but you can have a restricted view behind the upper sun deck.
