Looking for a nice 4 or 5 star hotel, any recommendations?

Melonories is a lot more up market, we have stayed in a couple of the hotels and been very happy with them but they are a taxi ride away from the bars and cubs which are largely around the Cita.

As others have said the Riu is just down the road from the Cita and it’s on the dunes: never stayed so can’t comment but it looks very nice.

We are in the Catarina at the moment and it’s not 4:5 star. But we are in superior room with Jacuzzi on our balcony with sunbeds and chairs so very nice space.

Nude roof and almost overlooks the Cita and 5 minutes walk to the start of the dunes.

In our opinion it’s spot on. Food average, entertainment no idea but for position and value spot on.
