Fuerteventura swinging?

Hi

Just need to ask is there much if a scene in fuerteventura. We used to go to GC quite a lot and for the last few years we've been to Lanzarote but never tried the other islands. Thanks in advance xx

The simple answer is there is no "scene" in Fuerteventura. Almost all the beaches are fine for naked sunbathing, but little else sexual (despite what you might read on Fab), and there are no swingers clubs or meeting places on the island. As residents we get cheap inter island travel and so pop across to PDI when we feel like a swinging "fix". Otherwise Fab's "who's near" is your best bet. You can strike it lucky as we have on a few occasions.

Fuerteventura is a relaxed, laid back island - just the opposite of PDI. Hope you have a great holiday there.

Maybe all us Fabbers that go to Corralejo should decide on a designated bar to go to for swinging. Someone once told me Weirdo’s bar but I think that was just because of the name but it would be good to have a ‘known’ bar for swingers, I heard the old York bar used to be known for it as it had red and black bar stools and if you sat on a red one it meant you wanted fun, but I don’t think that was true either, also I have heard Nico’s is known for swingers but never been. So, are we all going to nominate a bar for swingers.??

Perhaps ask the bar owner first, maybe they’re happy with their current customers?

Fuerteventura isn’t GC.

Not saying it is GC. There’s nothing wrong with swingers arranging to meet in a bar for a social meet and drink together, not sure why a bar owner would need to give permission for people to go in their bar and have a drink

I’m a swinger, I go in none swinging bars without checking with the owner first, there’s no segregation here we are all just adults going in a bar for a drink

The problem is that if a bar is designated as a swingers bar then the non swingers that go there, particularly women, are pestered beyond what is tolerable on the assumption they too are swingers. We also see that on the clothing optional beaches where randy tourists won't leave a girl sunbathing naked alone: "she's naked so must be up for it".

Fuerteventuran swingers don't need visitors coming to the island to organise us. Anyone who thinks we do should probably go to PDI.

I’m not on about a bar that you swing in like PDI, I have been there and know what it’s like, I was once in a bar in the Cita centre on my knees licking out a German man’s wife as he watched and that was just a bar, not a club. I’m purely on about a place to meet for an arranged social not to pester women in there, not that concept just a known bar where swingers might hang out and make contact through FAB and meet there as a meeting point for the night ahead

If we recall wasn't there a bar suggested a couple of years ago? Went down like a lead balloon from memory. We tend to use "Who's Near" if we're in the mood and take it from there.

Not forgetting the place that used to be frequented by one man and his dog which was supposed to be a Swingers Meeting Point. Was it the "Hello" bar?

Can't an 'arranged social' take place in any 'arranged for that social' bar?

We tend to meet at the beach now, having wasted far too many hours in bars waiting for no shows.

Ah yes was hello bar what is now York bar I think you may be on about

I also use near me now but my suggestion was only meaning a bar for swingers to meet, not a swinging bar, so a bit like the ComeBack Bar in Cita centre in PDI, I never saw swinging action going on there but swingers met there

Maybe I just open up my own swingers club in Corralejo lol

I wasn't talking about a bar to swing in. I was talking about any bar that swingers decided to publicise as a place to meet. Most of Corralejo visitors are not swingers yet they risk being pestered by those who went to the bars hoping for a hookup. As I said we don't need to be organised - get a bunch of swingers together and meet them wherever you like. You don't have to "designate" a bar for swingers.

Incidentally, we know many of the bars that have previously been designated swingers bars. It's a myth, none of them were and it annoyed the hell out of the owners.

"I can imagine the disgruntled bar owners seeing their half empty bars full of drink buying customers "

Wrong end of the stick - they were disgruntled because customers were staying away because they didn't want to be thought of as swingers, and swingers didn't go because there weren't any others.

In the same way over the past ten years two clubs opened (in Costa Calma and in Villa Verde) and closed within weeks because of lack of customers.

Forgive us if we're missing something here, but isn't the whole point of fab to meet similarly uninhibited and like-minded folk, the clue being in the domain name fabswingers.com?

Surely customers staying away due to not wanting to be thought of as swingers, would only have heard of it if they were in the know .

Unless they were being pestered by a gaggle of sex mad tourists. And if that was the case there would have been plenty of singers to swing with

light hearted banter BTW.

Like on the beach in PDI Maspalomas Dunes there was the Hut No5 or No7, I can’t quite remember exact number but it was known or designated for swingers and next to it was a gay/lgbt/bi Hut so similar to that would be great on Grandes Playa to know you’re amongst likeminded people all naked all swingers they would be great also and then there would be no meerkat men in the dunes which seem to annoy people but what do you expect or none swinging women & couples being pestered as people say as they’d all be at the swingers point on the beach

Meerkat men DO annoy people. Constantly on the move, walking very close to stone circles, intimidating ladies sunbathing alone by sitting in view and masturbating. What they don't seem to realise is that people clock them, speak about then, point them out and utterly despise them.

Meerkat behaviour is not swinging. It's abusive.

How would that be managed though? As far as we're aware the beach is open to all, why should a couple, single lady or indeed single man have to go to a specific part of the beach to fit in with their own likes / dislikes. Leave the Dunes as they are, go to PDI if you want to play on a beach.

Yes people do play on the beach in Corralejo, that’s a fact, it’s not exclusive to PDI or Cap D’Arge.

I’ve said in the past to other people I love the swinging scene in PDI but love the vibe of Corralejo, adore the beaches, night life, music square etc and people say ‘go to Corralejo then’ lol but I do so it’s the same anywhere people saying go there then, for this, there for that but like if you want , do you say go to Amsterdam.? No because there are plenty of ‘Green’ cafes/bars in Corralejo, Green Wave, Green Monkey etc, not that that is for me, I don’t do drugs but it’s another example, people feel they own the island and are the authority on what should and shouldn’t happen. I get pestered by meerkats too wanting my cock and vice versa, people think they just bother women and couples, but they pester men too. I’m just giving my opinions too on how I’d love it to be, plus I own property in Corralejo so why should I go anywhere else…
