North Walsham and Spain

Hoping everyone has come through these horrendous storms unscathed. We were lucky enough to find a safe spot and watch it just pass by in inland Murcia.

Cambs

We were lucky, inland a little from Marbella.

Have seen so many videos of Malaga ect with water flooding the roads and houses.

We desperately needed rain but not that much that quickly.

We too were lucky to avoid the worst. We're right on the beach, so no fear of flooding.

But seeing the pictures of the utter devastation elsewhere makes us feel for those who have suffered loss of property, friends and family.

Just horrible

Costa Blanca Spain...

Orihuela Costa. We had some moderate to heavy rain Monday night and into Tuesday morning and strong winds Tuesday afternoon. But nothing on the scale of of the devastation up the coast in Valencia.

In 20 years here I've seen some very heavy rain but nothing even close to that.

Sending all my prayers and well wishes to those that got hit by that awful weather.

I hope you are all ok and hopefully the damage wasn’t too bad x

I was shocked at the carnage pictured in Valencia.

Does anyone know how Benidorm was affected?

Lucky, no damage but a 30 hour thunderstorm was not good. We got away lucky but friends are cut off due to bridge collapse and two of wife's friends are missing.

Hopefully they will be found safe and well.

You should be OK in San Miguel.

We had some rain last week and there was a bit of wind damage but nothing serious.

The rain here (Playa Flamenca) was nothing more than a good drink for the garden and a top up for the pool.
