Hi, it's far too hot in Spain in August. If you enjoy being outdoors and not sitting in air-conditioned rooms, better to go to Wales

Wales is great! When it’s not cold and wet.

I was there yesterday. Pissed down all day and I’m so glad to be back in Spain.

Fourth official heatwave of the year started today. Temperatures in the 40s. Bilbao of all places on red alert for extreme heat tomorrow. Temperatures at night which don't drop below 29c until around 5am. So many people who live here do think it's 'too' hot. Yes, the weather is 'crap' in August to use your unfortunate phrase

CDS is beautiful and Galicia in the summer if you fancy a change as not as intense. Spain is never too hot or cold for me.
