El Arenal Mallorca (Any tips?)

I am travelling to Mallorca in late August for a week. Just wondering if anyone has any tips/recommendations, etc for the trip?

Also if anyone is going around the same time, it might be cool to meet up for a wine etc as I will be there by myself so would be nice to meet new people and make friends.
