I think Besos is closed all of July - I was looking to go next week but their website mentions it closed for holiday.

The issue often is that hundreds of couples are 'thinking of going' but very few do. So Besos has gone bust.

Atrium (Alicante) has also gone down and the Erotic Market in Denia as well.

It's a shame for the owners who worked day and night, not so much for the public as they didn't go anyway, else none of these 3 would have closed the door.

The last I heard Besos was moving premises from Guardamar to Catral. Not sure if it happened .

They did and that was all for nothing in the end.

As you can see from our profile we run a swingers club too but it's NOT our main business. That's probably why we are still doing ok.

To survive quite a few clubs (decided to) open on many days/every day and the result is that you get very few visitors (or even none) every day except perhaps on Saturday. Even in places where most are on holiday, in theory it shouldn't make any difference whether it's Saturday or Wednesday.

The 'We will visit you tonight', 'We will definitely come over' and 'We hope to see you soon' messages from couples are countless (really!) but nearly all are intentions. Most guys however do turn up up but that's no use if the couples don't. So as long as you don't open on (too) many days you'll be right, at least that way you can fill up the place and kind of guarantee a fun night.

And even if you charge little (to attract a few more people) it's amazing how many 'smuggle' in booze. That too hurts. In the end it's just a business, not any different from selling pot flowers or computer stuff.

A lot of people go to Gran Canaria to visit a club or clubs. Tenerife is far less popular, just because there is not a club at every corner so it's a different kind of tourism.

Lastly, if you are not located in a holiday place where people go BECAUSE there are are clubs it's hard. 'At home', with a large number of residents and many cities (relatively) close together it's a totally different story.
