Arrive this week and thinking of having a day pass at either of these. Is it worth it? Which is best ?

Agreed - Venus is a swinging and tanning location, La Mirage is just for relaxing / tanning. Venus is a better option ultimately for most!

Our 2 cents

We have been to both and we only have good things to say

Mirage was lovely and chilled, the food was great, facilities were exceptional and we had a good relaxing day

Venus is more full on, lots to see and take part in if you want, food is good as well and great facilities

Alternatively, we went to SW Paradise yesterday (Sunday 12th May) it's located in the old Venus premises near Holiday World

Great food, new facilities, hot Tub and pool were amazing

So lots of options available, something for everyone

Yes and yes as a pale, pasty girl there are sunbeds and lots of umbrella at both to hide from the sun and food and drinks are plentiful and reasonably priced at both

Hey you guys, we are staying in Venus this time around and La Mirage in July. We’d recommend Venus every time for a day pass, because at this time of year you fundamentally need people together to have fun etc. Venus essentially offers that. Every lounger is the size of a Queen Size bed, and every bed has shade or a parasol. That was my (Helen’s) worry when we day passed it first time, and we needn’t have worried.

We're off to Venus today as it's literally just down the road for us.

We'd be satisfied with just a bit of a nude sunbathe after our comically terrible trip to the beach so any play will be a bonus. Will report back, should anyone else be going feel free to say hello!

So Venus was great, despite multiple people saying take your passport these weren't asked for. Staff throughout are friendly, the venue is nicely laid out & clean, good music, pool and jacuzzi are lush, drinks were great, food was decent but did have to send back a chicken sandwich that was raw.

Despite early apprehension there was all body types and the atmosphere felt relaxed, play appeared to mostly just be between couples, even when we ventured to the play room no one joined us but everyone we spoke to were lovely.

Would absolutely go back on a day pass, was fun to sunbathe nude, have a swim and a play whenever the mood struck.
