Looking at booking a week away in the Canary Islands in September/October more than likely gran canaira but I’m open to any of them. Has anyone else noticed how expensive the flights seemed to have got? If so does anyone know of any reason for the hike?

Usually the prices go up as the plane fills up. Basic supply and demand.

Next Door

Mid Sept onwards is high season in GC, especially PDI, so it gets expensive. Other areas of GC or the other islands are cheaper.

I’ve never paid anymore than £100 a return flight but for some reason they are all around £300 plus for pretty much the 2 months. Just seems a massive jump

,

Have you tried searching skycanner.net,

do a search any date you require then look at show whole month under search icon which is on the top left hand side of the page,

makes it much easier to see whats happening with flights,

a day or two either side can be a big difference in prices..

hope it works out cheaper for you
