"Has anyone got any recommendations for La Pineda or any first hand experience of what it is like as a holiday destination?"

In La Pineda you have a night party area "La Pineda Drink".

Very close you have the Chatelet Swinger Club in Salou.

A visit to the Port Aventura amusement park is essential.

A visit to nearby Tarragona is highly recommended.

Also try a real paella in the Ebre Delta, a beautiful place.

Enjoy the beaches with crystal clear, calm and not at all cold waters. Without wind or haze and with quality beach bars.
