Single bi guy looking to escape on the cheap next week for a few nights away.

Been to Lanzarote many times but never been to Gran Canaria and have the choice of both. My main worry as a solo traveller going somewhere I've never been before is finding myself either with little to do during the day or wasting my time in the wrong places.

However, there's not much fab fun in Lanzarote and I feel like I need something more exciting.

Any advice or tips on where to stay (cheaply but cleanly) in gran canaria? I don't drive so nowhere remote.

Also, where's good for single guys to hang out during the day if I'm staying in Maspalomas or PDI ? And if someone fancies a relaxed no pressure social while I'm there, feel free to drop me a message.
